Load a game, go to shaders menu and browse to shadersshadersslanghandheldhandheld-border. Put the shader folder in the root of your Retroarch and everything will be in the right place. I personally prefer the 4:3 aspect ratio, so those backgrounds definitely got more of my attention than the pixel perfect ones still both should work. After downloading the package, unzip it and locate the folder called shaders. You'll have to edit the options file and add whichever hue/saturation/luminance options you desire. Also, the mask/options files are there in case you want to enable color changing backgrounds, but none of them are enabled. Again, thinking the TV is old 4:3 style so the game should look ok on it full screen. Im a RetroArch noob, so not 100 sure, but wanted to know how I can get rid of the borders and have the game take up the full screen. The files have all been compressed using PNGQuant, the total size on your SNES should be about 33MB for all of them. I have Retroarch starting games on the big CRT TV as I want, but the games still have the black borders on both sides. I found a nice pack of borders for retroarch, but on wii it gets all messed up, covering the game image itself. I'm using the "galaxy" background for Gradius III and R-Type 3.
